Did You Ever Wish You Were Someone Else
Did you ever wish you were someone else
Like a popular Hollywood star
Or a rich and famous member of the jet set
Maybe a singer with a massive repertoire
Well wish away if that turns your crank
None are necessarily more content
Real true happiness comes from deep within
And a sweet loving soul to augment
Been around a long while but still not a expert
Real love is a very fickle thing
But when love is true, the feeling's so amazing
To embrace it and feel that zing
Certainly not a pro on the subject of love
Just what I've learned through the years
A few heartaches but mostly a truly happy life
Happiness with a sprinkling of tears
So to wrap this all up in a neat little package
The answer is love without doubt
Imagine how much better the world would be
If conflicts we were finally without
