Diamonds and Ashes

He thinks, he won a battle But war is full of battles Lets keep that in mind While weaving beams and streams the web of lights Days they die light glows Warrior of light seeks his shades in dark with pain inflamed He digs his ground under to the heated core. And light he seeks, though dark he fought is light his speech he weeps diamonds And burns in smoke and ashes.
