Dear Sara, Great Haiku, I feel sorry for any with diabetise.I LOVE Chocolate. Lenore would buy me a box of Chocolate on Valentines Day It was gone in a couple of hours.(I don't share my Chocolate.Superb Pen. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS and FOREVER YOUR Eternal Liege...Harry

aww a great poem Sara, my dad was diabetic but he still had chocolate you can get special ones, and jam, he used to monotor himself and his intake and every so often he even had a small cake, congratulations on your featured poem, God bless you from diane

My husband too....it is sometimes a difficult road...but he does very well with it, keeps fit, (but once in awhile he just has to cheat...I catch him grabbing chocolate chips from the freezer...! So I know how hard it must be)..Best wishes!

Diabetes is hard to get used to, I have some family members with it and I see them holding back those carbohydrates. Nice work...Raul
