Dew From the Shore
I climb your trellis
leaning on rainbows
to new sunlight,
where parts me
are washed away.
Though I am dew
to your flowers ,
droplets bright
upon your skin
there is love
in your eyes
even just
for a while.
I know this,
as you relish
from the shore--
my fingers
brushing your hair
and night sings
while you leave, again.
