Destiny
We are appointed a day to be born and a day to die
In this journey called life
When the good die young, we always ask "Why"?
Many lives are filled with heartache and strife
Is it destiny that some people die young
In this journey called life
Who becomes the hero, and who remains unsung
Abiding both in joy and sorrow
Is it destiny that some people die young
No one can promise us tomorrow
We take life one day at a time
Abiding both in joy and sorrow
Some are taken in their prime
Some leave us too early, taken too soon

We fade in and out like phases of the moon
