Bradford pears decorated in white Forsythia in her golden gown Star Magnolia flowers droop out of sight As many daffodils' petals have fallen down Pouring rain did damage to tender flowers Some fell to the ground or turned brown Those left add delight to my eyes and give powers To heal winter's blahs and breakdown

You have such a wonderful gift of creating imagery and thoughtful poems. Your poem reminded me of our now wilting daffodils. They still heal my winter blues. Outstanding job, Sara K. Have a pleasant evening, Sara

You have truly described the splendor of spring even when spring rains crush some of the floral beauty! If this is for a contest, best wishes. Blessings and prayers!

Sometimes in spring, a gentle rain seems to clear the air, but for some reason, it isn't happening or to me it isn't happening like that this year. I guess it comes just a little later. Thanks for the visit, Sam. Sara K
