Bore after bore fell silent eventually Abhor I do feel through my eyes Gore and sore now abundantly plenty Tore through clouds, wondrous skies Despair in abundance appears all around Where in the world has all our love gone Stare into our abyss, and see it abound There is no tomorrow, there is no dawn <*>

James although the world nowadays has been rakpant black or gray I still believe on healing light.. despair.. sometimes we really have such moments but I do believe we dont't let ourselves be swallowed to such... we are born winners!!!~olive eloisa

This poem was written at the request of Lencio Rodrigues who created the Lentos Poetry Form. Amazingly I was chosen along with 101 poets throughout the World to submit a poem for his book. My poem is on page 31. The kids bought it for my Christmas two years ago, when I opened the book for the first time, the page I opened was my poem, WOW. I pray that we write our joint poetry book, hugs always Oliz xxxx

been a while, my king of the highlands... you bring raw images into your lines; writing from the heart and spirit has been given to you so freely... princess delights in this sullen yet beautiful work... well done!.:) huggs

I thought I would take a trip to a land of shadows.well done. Thanks for your comments. I find it interesting you write about dark topics but with a hint of playfulness. I do not sense the darkness in your personality.

yes, I have been feeling this sometimes in my own life,James. Sad about the whole world. I know it is not good to moan about one's own woes with all the horrors in this world. But bad times just drag one down!! I sure liked how you did beginning rhyme as well as ending.

Hi Colleen, I've entered in the contest. So fingers crossed it''ll be well received. Any plaudits are your success, if not for the titles of your poem, I wouldn't have a poem. Have a wonderful day, and keep writing, James :)
