Desires

It drives one wild Blinding him to everything Prompting his thoughtsDirecting his actions ‘Tis desires! It makes one restless Placing before him a promised land Propelling him to strive on Never relenting until the Promised Land ‘Tis desires! It has such misleading power Landing fools in dungeons, in abyss Making wise men more cautious Gofor it for its justifiable goodness ‘Tis desires! Dissect it with a discerning heart Diagnose it with your mind’s eyes Reshape it with your sharp mind Before ever wanting to make it real ‘Tis desires!
