Desert Eagle Drive

357 Desert Eagle drive Hollow point A piece of the sky Everything is Zen Sequestered in hell It’s the little things that kill Stopping power **** me Cold against your temple Hot in your hand I need to comedown IKEA and groceries Feed the dogs Worlds gone mad Love and hate I sleep all day No one knows me It all comes down to you There is no blame

There's a deep sadness in the poem, but because of the strong language in parts, I sense some anger in it too. It's good that you are able to be so expressive and artful when life throws its fire balls into the mind and soul. it is indeed a powerful piece of work. Well, this will be my last poem I have read for today. I am happy to read your work. Keep it up! Always, Laura

I was feeling a bit low when I wrote this one. Thanks for the marathon reads. You made my day, week, month, aw hell you make every day a good one. Thanks for being such a dear friend. ~Kilmer

I feel a little too close to the edge of hell at times. Especially the last few months. Very strong emotion with your usual tell-it-like-it-is style. I can relate to the feeling of coming to terms with loss and loneliness.

Hang in there Karen, it get's better I promise. It's the little things that really make a difference. I was down when I wrote this but have comes to grip with life and realized we are here to make a difference no matter how small. It may not be now but it is coming. ~Kilmer

No worries I am fine. I am sure your kids will be as well. It's a different world out there than you and I were brought up in. Sometime I just can't stand it another day but I always seem to carry on. Thanks for your concern I really appreciate it. ~Kilmer
