Depths
No one said that life was nothing but a joy to live.
No one said that joy was never in it.
A hill must be superseded.
If you can’t climb now,
Try, try, and try again
Until the trying ends.
The strife struggles life.
The fight is only for the cause.
Once won, the glory this becomes.
If you can’t walk now,
Try, try, and try again
Until the trying ends.
A man and his island flourished and grew.
He knew one day his growth would be known.
He worked hard, however, nadirs did come.
He was up this day and down the next.
He never stop working toward success.
If you can’t climb now,
Try, try, and try again
Until the trying ends.
A ladder was placed.
A step was taken.
A road was travel.
A journey partook.
When you climbed, you walked.
Trying became an afterthought.
Until the end was accomplishable.
