Departure
Deep sadness here as rain wets all;
Esteem fills hearts that call your name;
Poignant marks clear our bitter gall;
A farewell starts sheer grief untamed;
Rest now in peace as your work ends;
True patriot soul who lived wisely;
Upright with ease you shaped our trends;
Reached to make whole our lives truly;
Enshrined our way with able men;
People now come to say goodbye;
A nation says a "Thank You" grand;
In teary sums we look and sigh;
Now your pain ends for you dear friend;
See a true blend as people stand.
