Demons

“Do it!” They scream in my ear. “No one will care. Just do it now. No one will see.” So I do. One there, Two there. I don’t care anymore. They took over. The kids will stare, But won’t do anything. I caved. I fell into their trap. Again. They whisper Sweet Nothings in my ear, As I make the cut. They tell me they care, As I open my skin. Hopefully, I can let them out, And free myself. I’m out of luck. I sit in my room, Unknowing. How do I free myself? I’m forever stuck In their trap. I can’t get out. My demons took over.
