Delusions of Life
My trials, my fate,
Destiny lies at those golden gates,
You think I must sound absurd,
To preach with the talent of my spoken word,
Speak,
Speak,
Speak,
For your voice is tacit,
If you never speak you will never be heard,
Never be able to raise your voice to the sky,
And wonder how,
And wonder why,
You must test yourself to better yourself,
The more lies you spread,
The closer you come to being dead,
Dead inside,
Empty,
Emptiness,
Follows you as you walk,
Watching the prey you often stalk,
Retreat!
Retreat now!
You have yet the courage to test the fate,
The fate that lies inside the gate,
You’ll burn before you come to the conclusion,
That life is just an intimate delusion.
