Deliverance
I see you demon spirits.
My friend's where you abide.
The Lord gave me discernment
Revealing where you hide.
O' hear these words, dark spirits.
I recognize all three.
You cannot hide your presence,
Since when you dwelt in me.
UNFORGIVENESS, was the first one
To catch me in your grip.
Revenge became your offering.
My peace was what you stripped.
Then quickly in, came ANGER,
So easily discerned.
Cloaked with rage, deceit, and hate,
Hot in my heart, you burned.
Condemning words of fury,
You laid entrenching paths,
For PRIDE to rear His ugly head,
The consequence of wrath.
Revenge became my jailer,
For years it held my pain.
Though Rage may have indicted me,
‘Twas PRIDE that locked my chains.
I learned the strongest spirit,
You condemning spirit, PRIDE,
Must be the first departed
Of all the three that hide.
Be ready, Demon spirits,
Your moving day has come!
Jesus Christ will free my friend.
Your end has now begun!
Lord Jesus, help my friend today.
To him, in truth, disclose,
The spirits that imprison him
When called by You, MUST GO.
O' spirits joined as one,
UNFORGIVENESS, ANGER, PRIDE!
Obey these Words that I now pray,
The Words that you despise!
When you were one with Legion
Back in Capernaum,
You feared these Words from Jesus,
Now, "BE QUIET, COME OUT OF HIM"!
Please Jesus, give discernment,
As You have given me,
To fill the void inside my friend,
Once occupied by three.
But most of all, please show him,
Demon spirits seek to live,
Inside a heart that’s broken
And refuses to forgive.
