Delicate Heart

Loneliness and hurt seem to plague you Forcing you deeper towards a corner You want to love but can’t seem to Step out of the shadows that cover you Too many times have you been hurt before Forcing you to lock up your heart and Guard it along with your emotions Just because some have gone and messed with you It is ok To feel this way So I won’t rush anything with you Your delicate heart Is quite fragile I promise to heal and strengthen it I won’t go and abuse your heart Take my hand Allow me to show you that I’m sincere Don’t worry about your past It doesn’t bother me at all Instead, focus on the now With me by your side Allow me to show it to you The love that you deserve I’ll be the one to cherish you And the one to always love you I too have been hurt numerous times And I once did the exact same thing But I refuse to remain in the dark So I ventured out, seeking true love Seeing that it’s a bit harder for you I patiently knock on the door of your heart I won’t run away like the rest I’ll show you that not all of us are the same I’ll give you The key to my heart Come inside and take a look around There’s no malice Within my walls It’s all love for you and it won’t disappear So please relax and get comfortable Take my hand Allow me to show you what true love is like
