Deeper Than Tears

DEEPER THAN TEARS. Mummy is blessed, Binta Sadiq isn’t dead, As I progress to search Beside her bed. What letters do I forfeit? For you the genesis of Friendship, You soiled and made Profits The glamorous pageant now Leaves in a curfew. Bundle of double rotten Weeks after mourning, Binta’s very much fresh And smells well Like the hibiscus look, During morning dew. I spoke with your offspring The brilliant young king and His pretty beauty queen, I remember the day you Touched me And the songs you clothed In me, You also said you loved me. The calendar continues to Count like centuries In my heart I see it as Ten minutes, I still hear you sing. Gossips say you have gone Missing Some said it was a bee sting. I can guaranty your quality That you presently leave next To The Almighty’s Sit, You also drink from His healthy Tea till eternity, We the living continuously celebrate That evening, When tears mixed in all I was Eating, As your eyes melt and went With the season. Mummy, Rest in no pain, As your fame is the reason I make this page. Tribute to the name of Binta Sadiq. AKEWUSOLA HABIB.
