I once knew a guy named Paul, --- who had the greatest limerick wall, --- never did he write free verse, --- maybe he has a rhyming curse, --- something tells me he's having a ball, ---

I think you have my number, SKAT. I do enjoy writing limericks. It would be nice if I were better at it. I DO value and appreciate your comments. . . . There once was a poet supreme, whose limericks by Paul made her scream, leading alas to a discombobulated scene.

Forgive me, Maurice, for my tardiness in acknowledging your kind, supportive comments. They really DO mean a lot to me. Thank you, thank you.

No worries - no need to apologise - I found it really funny Paul - I tend to always read your works if I can - I wouldn't comment if I found it upsetting - humour is what I need at the moment and this hit the spot:-) Hugs Jan xx

Thanks, Jan. It occurs to me that the subject matter of this limerick wasn't the best for you at this time. I apologize to you for that.

G'day Paul... There's a theory here Paul for an unwary nagger. Don't upset anyone who knows the meaning of what compassion is when disposing with the departed. Thanks again mate - Lindsay

Lindsay, the theory is grounded in common sense, just what one would expect from the insightful Aussies. I appreciate your comment.
