So grateful for your congratulations. Violets are rather special for me. On Mother's Day I would send my mom a violet. After she died I brought them home with me. One survived, is sitting on the countertop near a sunny window, has divided and just blooms and blooms. I have always hoped this poem was a reflection of that experience.

This poem also describes some people I know. Shy, delicate, beautiful souls who were hidden behind the shadow of larger-than-life people around them. It is a "A joyful surprise finding" them! Lovely.

This dainty flower does not like to be fussed over and is difficult to raise, for me anyway. I probably over water it or give it too much sun. A sweet poem Sam. : )

Hi Connie, I have my mother's violet in a violet pot. It is constantly blooming I think because the water is absorbed through the base of the pot that sits in water in another pot. Again, thank you for your thought feedback.
