Dedicated To Chris Marsh

My Brother from another mother died before my eyes. A one pack a day smoking habit is what caused him to die. When it was all over, what did I do to get my nerves set? I stepped out of the hospital and lit up a cigarette. Tobacco is the world's most addictive poison. It's more difficult to give up than crack cocaine or heroin. To all who may be reading this, I say from the bottom of my heart. If you haven't lit up a cigarette yet, please don't ever start. His death was very slow and lingering. I never saw anyone in such horrific pain. I miss you Chris and I kept my promise to you. I've stopped the nasty habit.

Smoking is one of the things in life which affects the lungs and throat in many ways. I like the educational thrust of this poem. Great job! Joseph
