Dedicated To a Friend

The day my mother died , I found a bookmark in her bible placed inside. It said Lord he’s all I’ve got and I give him to you, She stood on those words hoping and praying someday they’d come true. She said I wasn’t bad only I had lost my way, Night after night coming home drunk to my wife and children but still she would pray. It took in her eyes what seemed like forever for me to turn around, But the day it happened she was the happiest mother ever to be found. So to Christy I dedicate this story of mine, Keep praying for your children all the time. God does listen, and He answers those prayers, Especially from a mother who really cares. It may take awhile but never give in, No matter the problem, God can make him whole again.
