Decisions
Broken and afraid
I waited to be saved
By a word
Or a lover
Perhaps a memory forgotten
Maybe a stranger's obligation
By another shattered soul
Or a knife to the heart
Perhaps poison in the wine
Maybe just drown in a shallow bay
Still broken
I no longer wait
What is this?
My life
My fate
