Decisions
Decisions, some are easy, but for others we pray
For guidance, to help us choose the right way
Right or wrong it’s best to decide
Remember the wrong choice may be rectified
If you make no choice others will make it
Then it’s not your choice, but you have to take it
Some will say it was destiny, meant or not meant to be
But fate, is the courage to choose what you want it to be
When the decision you make, for you it may be best
When others decide it’s not for you, but the rest
You can lead by choosing which path you will take
Or follow by leaving to others the choices to make
This lesson I’ve learned, now no other will guide
Right or wrong, I’ll be the one who decides
Don’t leave to others to choose your fate
Unfortunately, I learned this lesson too late
