Decision Through Reflection

I look into the mirror And see a face of age Ravaged by the love of life And pummled by the rage The fire that was burning Now is growing dim The logs of life are fewer Than the ashes of the sin I see my fathers features In the lines upon my face Am I to join his journey Or my mothers saving grace The words of all outsiders Have been blocked against my ears I must face the choice of life Through smiles and through tears I have to reap the consequence Of all the things I've done And wonder if I've lost my way Or wonder if I've won Rockman :-)

Great write on the subject of growing older. It is a fact it happens to all of all sooner or later. Nicely put to words,
