Decadence
Transcend old dread that seeds vain thought,
Oppose the fear that floods sad ooze;
X marks the dead beyond all plot,
Ingest good here in fatal snooze;
Choice spurs the take on crazy form.
Delight sad heart in shifting sands,
Etch a new make in this mad storm;
Cheer stands apart from gloomy trends,
Arm with vile stuff the mad confuse;
Deep hardness tells of loveless gaze,
Emerge with bluff the vain peruse;
Niche crafty spell in evil maze,
Cheer departs hence as darkness comes,
Embalm the tense where horror sums.
