Death Do Us Part
Her mind drew blank
She didn't know what to do
She never did in these situations
Even the smallest of movements
Would cause him to shoot
It wasn't the first time it happened
Nor the second but the third
She always had a type
for the crazy ones
She knew it
Ever since her first fling
Five years ago at summer camp
When she fell for a guy
Who wrote a poem about killing a bird
She ignored the signs
The first time
The gun pressed against his head
The second time
He claims
It was the voices
in his head haunting him
Telling him to kill her
Here we are with ex-boyfriend three
"If you move I will shoot you"
She was terrified
Every bone in her body
Couldn't move
She thought of all the signs
She ignored in the past
When he lost his sense of reality
When he started talking to himself
about a person named Ryan
Maybe she
should have called the Hospital
But it was too late now.
