Death

It came suddenly, as if a mountain crumbled on top of me. The reality hit with a force that I can't explain. He's gone! I cry and cry over his passing. The smell of death surrounding me. My grandfather is dead. Life goes on, not ceasing for a moment to comfort me. God is with me. I draw my strength from him. I wish I had gotten to say "Goodbye grandpa; I love you! Always have, always will." Life is full of unfinished things. Fate will take the lives of those we love most. Trying to figure out why, is the hard part. Seeing the way fate carries out in life is too hard to explain.
