Death

I saw you rustle through the trees Heard your mournful sigh on the breeze. I knew somehow you were out there Knew you would find me somewhere. I thought I saw you shuffling past the gate Maybe contemplating my future fate. Your footprint in my flower bed In some would cause a certain dread. I heard you wheezing at the door Glimpsed your shadow on the floor. I know that you will find me someday Slip through a crack and take me away. I know I can run but I cannot hide For time is always on your side. So when you come for me you'll find That somehow you were always on my mind.

There are times when ESP gets into the picture. It could probably be a little farfetched but true in some instances. I like the flow and the message. Great job! ~Joseph
