Death

They call to me, Man begs for me, Life needs me, All men, Eventually use me, In evil, In vain, For good, Or just to pass through me, When I come, War is upon me, I never served men greater, Even now, Man is lucky, How free, How easy, It is to find me, I cost so much, But not money, Men run towards the enemy, Not knowing, They are running towards me, I am terrifying, Yet always welcoming, When life is done, Life will give you to me, And I will hold you, For some one greater, Than me, I am the gate, From you to Him, How much power, Possesses me, Yet some do not fear me, I can take you, When you use me, But I can’t keep you, Because He wants you, And loves you, I am death.

Another good write Joseph…very truthful verse about death! Personally for me it'll be like a sleep (minus the snoring of course!):)

Hello Joseph...I loved this poem...Death is something not everyone likes to talk or even read about but death is a reality that is very clear it all depends on how you accept the reality of death because it will be there waiting for all of us one day Great job-Love Ettie
