Dearest Mother
When you were born
You didn't know
The hell you'd receive
Nor the hell you would show
As you grew
I understand
The pain you lived
Through another ones hand
You felt alone
You could not speak
What you went through
Made you weak
You didn't think
Your mother would care
The pain you felt
You never shared
You held the truth
Inside for years
You blamed your guilt
And cried your tears
Maybe life
For you was wrong
So listen to me
When I cry the same song
