Dear Snow
Dear Snow
I know that you are cold
But I also know that you are happy
I know that your flakes
Are your different moods
I know that your fall
Is your way of being
You remind me of me.
Dear Snow
Do not fuse the lights on the trees
Because they are for beauty
They are to guide the people
On dark December nights
When they feel lonely and astray
The man who was cycling at midnight
I wished I could shout
'Let go!... Let go my friend!
For the handles restrict you!
Find the alleys that lead you to the mountain top!
Find the trees that guide you to the stars!
For they are alit with the roadmap to the northern star!'
Alas! I didn't...
Dear Snow
Don't fog my glasses
But you can fog my brain with your touch
Your gentle kisses on my forehead
And do melt on my tongue
Because you taste of liberty!
Joyous carols are clichés
It is snow on a moonlit night
And stars on trees
That make this festival
A celebration of life!
Happy ... happy Snow!
Happy new days...
