Dear Mistaken
Dear Mistaken
Remember the lack of care in your joyous GLORY;
Remember the lack of sincerity in your beautiful STORY;
Remember the lack of wisdom in decisions you MADE;
Remember the lack of mercy as you dug in the BLADE;
Remember the lack of humanity as you laughed LOUDLY;
Remember the lack of empathy as you stood PROUDLY;
Remember the lack of friendship in your deceptive KINDNESS;
Remember the lack of heart in your ways of BLINDNESS;
Remember the lack of gratitude you may not MEND;
Remember the lack of compassion when it all ENDS;
In the end, you should have known BETTER;
In the end, the sorrow felt as you read the LETTERS;
In the end, you stare at the stones you have been COLLECTING;
In the end, you value the diamonds you have been NEGLECTING;
In the end, karma came by and got you CHECKED;
In the end, you've ended up WRECKED;
In the end, you question your naive QUICKNESS;
In the end, you are on bended knees pleading for FORGIVENESS;
In the end, all that is golden has been TAKEN;
In the end, you are only remembered as MISTAKEN.
