Dear Hani

Dear Hani, I remember a positive thought coming to my mind. A good night's sleep can happen, even after you have had a bad day. Three years ago this very day I woke up, packed my belongings and left forever and for good. She stood there at the bus stop and asked me how my day was going. I wasn't sure if I could....But knew I should. Reply to her that is.... Not many people may ever care, but I was certain and sure She does. I knew where I was but deep down underneath I felt completely lost. While She was there, I felt a little less lost. I had been a block away from my home, my old home, that is. She ask me how I currently felt after all of this. I replied, "Couldn't be better," but I was never good at lying. After being faced with a bad hand in poker, my bluff was called. When I wake up every now and then, I think of the moment she uplifted me with Her inspiring words. She didn't even know my name or who I am. Without knowing what she was doing, she went ahead and did it anyway. Even after being happily married for four years now, I still wake up in the middle of the night. When I do, I visualize the worn shoe's I was wearing with dirty white laces. They appeared to be untied like a loose stage in my life needing to be secured. Now, every time I have this same dream, I see my wife’s pretty, dreamy eyes right beside me looking like an angel. One and the same they are. She said "You have the same look I had not but a few weeks ago, but your tone of voice is a lot more obvious." "They are still out there,” she said while looking up into the clouds. Maybe she might mean women I had loved in the past. "Are you the one who I truly love also out there?" I asked. "No." She said. "I am right here next and near to you and will be always." Hani, I am just trying to give you some thoughts, ideas and ways to present words. Capitalize the “S” in she for further emphasis of She is the one for me.

James, my friend, thank you for taking your time to do this for me. I appreciate it quite in the same way I can see you appreciate poetry. Thank you for helping me better myself for future writes. A question for you though: What did you think of the story told?
