Dear Diary...
Dear Diary, I've seen her
The eyes that find my heart
The heart that knows my own
My own is held apart
Distance is the hardest
So, then, is the space
But I shall see her soon
Her brightly shining face
Dear Dairy, I love her
Her words are silvered waves
Cooling off the pain of once
My God, how beauty saves
Dear Diary, I wait
She sleeps as beauty will
One day to awake
My empty hand to fill
But I hate not the waiting
Nor silence that is blind
Lord, you grow her still
By Your love, entwine
Dear Diary, I follow
Lead by just the sun
Dear Lord, lead me on
You and I as one
