Dear American Government
The government tell us lies
Making up their alibis
Shoving “Democracy” down our throats
When it’s really Dictatorship behind the cloak
Send us to wars we don’t even need
To satisfy their hunger for greed
Spending more money than we have to spend
Our debts are paid...Great, but when?
You tap our phones and spy on us
To see if we are dangerous
You take our weapons so we can’t fight
You’re taking away our Constitutional Rights
Your power has over-stepped its bounds
You are not kings, so remove you crowns
And there is one thing that you have forgot:
The People are in charge and you are not
So government, here’s my advice:
Your citizens will not always play nice
If you upset them in any which way
They will overthrow you, right now, today
Always do the best that you can
Even if some people are not a fan
But put their interest always before yours
And no more starting pointless wars
Always respect the people’s rights
The right to resist, the right to fight
Tell them the truth and don’t hold back
And the people will trust you and give you slack
That is all I have to say
And I hope you heed my words someday
