Dealing With Suicidal Thoughts

A subject not many want to talk about. One million beautiful people every year. Yes that’s right they disappear from here. So how do you deal with suicidal thoughts Depression and anxiety go hand in hand Panic attacks and a mind not your own You need to talk pick up the phone Keep yourself busy don’t be on your own Tell your family and your friends Let them know your feeling low Go to the doctor they know what to do They understand the illness you are going through Be brave for light is shining very close to you Be brave and talk your feelings through Be brave because a lot of people love you Remember the odds of you being here today The odds are 400 trillion to one :) Hugs I have lost friends through Suicide and it hurts my core for evermore

I know this is a subject close to your heart Niall and it is an emotive subject that needs to be brought out into the open and get people talking about suicide. Happened to the son of a work colleague who was in a unit yet still managed to find a way to end his life . Keep up the excellent work with your charity work Niall:-) hugs Jan xx

Hi Amy , thank you for comment , I have lost a few great friends like so many other have too. Five years ago I started with my wife planting trees for suicide it is called ' Tree of Hope' see FB :))hugs

I've lost an uncle and four cousins to suide. Sad thing is three of them were brothers. And they were all young in their early 20's... Life's tough!

I have lost a GF and a close friend to suicide, it is not an easy subject and one that many do not understand, people do not want to die, they want the pain to end.. Depression is a condition that is like a black hole, some come back, sadly some do not... Great poem Niall.. Hope you re well...

Strong messaging shedding light on such a tragic problem. Final measures taken for temporary phases.The help that is out there needs to be marketed differently.

Powerful verse, not a nice place to be, its not something you can put a plaster on and its hard to come out of the dark hole sometimes.I knew someone who took his own life but never showed any obvious signs that he was struggling.If only they knew that help is out there. Tom
