Dead Man Walking

Blood runs cold through my vains, emotionless smiles spread on my face, each day passes in this timeless place, I cease to exist in this space. Though I move my legs, step by step, motions I make. My skin may seem warm, eyes may seem bright, but I'm just a dead man walking, fading from the world that surrounds. I hide like a fraud, keeping the world at bay, not letting them discover, there's nothing below. Just bones decaying deep, ashes are all that's left of me. Just a dead man walking, a charlatan avoiding disgrace.
