Days of Sunny Glad Me Up

days of sunny glad me up before I fall in gloomy cups of blackish brew instead my eyes drink the light nectar elixir beverage balm for weary now for glassy sight days of sunny had no sting of gone by youth a parting thing days of sunny bade me sing * For Michele Nold-Godleske's e.e. cummings contest

Super Cummings entry, though I have never read Cummings...if I have it was 30 years ago. This coffee fix fits my life style precisely...by the way what is D? I hope it means good and not sucks. BIG LOVE, daver

YAY! Me too! Sunny glads me up, too. I love the form, and rhythm of this - very striking. just like the sun itself. :) love, Kristin

nice work! I love how the sights and smells of sunny days remind me of highschool days, everything exciting and new... Re: my poem, it's so ironic! our small town suffered 2 large tornadoes this week! My home was between their paths and was unscathed!
