Daydreams Without Thought
Now enters in the sunset's softened hues
bringing in the peaceful evening views.
A warm breeze blowing salt sweetened
and aloft, as I close my eyes and breath
in, I drift off into daydreams without thought.
The crackling evening fire starts to burn and
unfolds this evening I have for so long yearned.
Night's stars begin to shine and opens the sky
the entertainment for us, so divine.
Cascading waves sings us an ancient lullaby,
times of travel and dreams of those who have
been placed in the sky and unto the heavens,
will never die.
Chapter after chapter the pages are turned as
you and I take in, all that from them we learn.
