Blackness gave way To silhouettes Of branch and bough, Dull pale fire Heating East’s sky Whiter, brighter, ‘Til I beheld Periwinkle Heaven this dawn, Shadowy dark Green foliage Grateful for sun’s Warm, amber rays As I pondered What to create This day bequeathed.
