Daybreak
Sun comes around
To light the day;
Love lost and found
In a new play.
Dawn streams a face
In vibrant poise;
Light fills fond trace
In charming voice.
Here mind and heart
Feel movement clear;
Pulse rise to start
A touch that cheers.
Go on your way
To journey far;
Live well this day
With grace that stars.
May all things good
Bring happy joys;
Live sanguine moods
With play and ploy.
Salute this dawn
That blesses all;
Rise to the morn
That shouts and calls.
