Day of Love
The wind never grazed my skin so softly till I arrived in your presence
Seeing you smile so brightly gives this happiness its true essence
But oh what a distinct difference one day so beautifully makes
One day out of many to alleviate my heart from any aches
I lay in heavenly bliss, just engulfing this passion i have inside
Such a feeling it is, that it makes depleted pupils teary-eyed
And lost souls seem to find a home of their own
Kings that have strayed from their kingdom have regained their throne
Means more to me than just twenty-four hours of day and night
It make absent joy inside one's body begin to ignite
Draws out the desire that has been in caved in a mind
And makes bad memories just a little harder to find
Takes fallen individuals by the hand and lifts them into height
Wounded wings are carried off into a celestial flight
Heals bruises on faces with just one tender kiss
I pray to the heavens above for another day like this
