Day In the Park
On this day, a special day in the park
The powerful gleam of the grass did glow
The trees shine with the delight of a lark
There’s a pathway that meets from down below
There are shadows that are thrown all about
On this day, a special day in the park
Brightly the light shines inside and without
The space had beaming light that brought a spark
People milled around smiled while they embark
The mood seems so much higher with this light
On this day, a special day in the park
Everything looks better, is looking bright
The aura in this place befits a king
It’s all pleasing to the eyes, hits the mark
It is the light from the sun, that’s the thing
On this day, a special day in the park
