Day and Night
Shine from the scorching sun
paints a vivid blood red sky
blue is a most perfect canvas
upon which appears such a show
Its followed by a star dogged moon
Sharp it pierces the quiet dead of night
Then its lights up a path for weary men
and with joy they follow the afterglow .
