Dawn
Gaze of warm light as dawn unfurls,
Touch fresh insight in precious swirl.
My window view stretches out far,
For here I cue the myriad stars.
Darkness of night has gone away,
In a swift flight to welcome day.
I feel a thrill in sunlit moods,
There is a will that brings new good.
Dawn hums a hymn in birdsong fest,
Heart beats in-sync with glowing zest.
I know deep peace that flows my way,
Joy firms clear ease beyond mere say.
Deeper than deep strange mystic merge,
Wake up, don't sleep, but glimpse true verge.
