Da'Wah
Turmoil in the world
a growing population
Hard liners in civilization
echo their triumphant goal.
A wavelength of meaning,
a continuing reflection;
Religion gets its implications
in society and human thinking.
There's a challenge, a yardstick to gauge
more than a revelation;
But in concrete actualization,
there's an action and reaction.
A process unfolds
a kind of commitment involved
it's an individual effort
a task to fulfillment.
Signs of the times
conflicting values in our land;
profound influences
carry the right to understand.
The reality draws its meaning
with freedom and inspiration.
such a world of religions
that keeps humanity going.
Onward! that's an invitation
seeking for more followers
the missionary zeal explains
how such a call comes into being.
Note: This Arabic word, literally "summons," "call" or "invitation" - refers to Muslim missionary efforts to convert individuals to Islam.
