Daughters In Doom

Oh my beautiful Daughters what have you done to the men of the Earth, turning the roar of men's' love into notes of shame and whispers, discoloring the gallant glow of trust with untempered lust for popular worth, I made you to be embodiment of something sacred, a steadfast source of Divine sincerity in the chaos of Man's struggle to be heroic, to soothe and inspire His hope for honor, to be the hand he could hold in the tremor of dread, in the Begining you did this much and more, exceeded the seed of my dream, making Them historic, But you, my remorseless and rabid Girls sought to be worshiped as a cult of marauding maidens of madness, a horde of haughty harpies wanting glory your own, thrones tailored from supine bones, pleasured as predators of Princes and paupers saddistic seducers of troubadours and savants, making " high minded " heros helpless on the cliffs of your thrills, Oh my ravenous Daughters what have you done to the hearts of men, what have you become with speared touch and rough laughter, warm in love sport and cold in lip lies, the Furies have your fame and faces framed in black flame the day is soon when your beauty will become ashen, charms unmet with passion, and the Furies will befriend you adorn with thorned fashion, feed you a vulture's ration, Nemesis is on your terrible trail of predatory travail She to unveil the wail of your reward's gale, my lovely Princesses, my girls of gnarled gain a wind storm of lovers' cries flies towards you a punishment Holy in it's honor and horrible in It's hit, bite you shall, sixfold from Humility's tit - J.A.B.

I am very glad that my work is able to invoke your passion and sense of justice Connie, that mesns a lot to me. Incidentally, thete are accounts of Jesus falling I love with a professional love maker named Mary. Some even believe she was a devoted Disciple, and the Mother of his children. when you said to me that God is a surrealist too, it made me laugh because that makes me know why I understand Him so little!!! Just finished reading this one now, and my oh my, what a closing line: from humility's tit. That was funny. this one made me think of today's rock singers such as Beyonce or that girl who does the quirking thing. Such sweet girls stooping so low. I think it must make God sad what they are doing to themselves.

I did not take this to mean all women but believe there are some that in their deep seeded need for love and attention bring themselves and men to destruction. Your imagery and depiction of God's angst are exceptional. Between your words I feel his desie for reconciliation and the wish to have women experience the transcendence of who he made them to be. 77777777 all the way my friend.

Hi Justin, I saw we have a mutual friend in JS and wanted to check out your work. Throughout history women have been demonized as witches, sirens and the like. You made a point well taken, though I have had similar reproach toward men at times. Psychologists try to pigeon-hole people into types of characters when there are far more differences than similarities. Certainly gave me something to ponder before I lash out at men. VERY well written and compelling! Best wishes, Carolyn

I think Humility is depicted as the female avenger for these other sinful women. “a wind storm of lovers' cries flies towards you” That’s got to be one strong storm!!! Sorry. I’m ranting. I just love this poem! Thank you for sharing your talent and wisdom. Always, Laura

There is a sad and solemn wrath in this composition Laura. Your compliments stagger me, and the depth of your appreciation and analysis of this work is inspiring. You possess such a sharp mind and sensitive soul, it makes you a Masterpiece. Humility is like a Heroine for us all. You are a blessing to me, thanks for the love. J.A.B.

awesome. It feels like God is speaking to these women…with a sadness and disappointment so beautifully crafted through a very special man’s words. “a punishment Holy in it's honor and horrible in It's hit, bite you shall, sixfold from Humility's tit –“ What a piercing way to end this poem. What really made me think this a very god-like poem is the fourth and last stanza explaining so eloquently and prophetically what is to happen because of their actions.

This magnificent piece has become my new favorite of yours. -and in my mental collection of the finest poems. I love all of your lines - some that stood out to me : "to soothe and inspire His hope for honor, to be the hand he could hold in the tremor of dread" ..."making " high minded "heros helpless on the cliffs of your thrills,"..."the day is soon when your beauty will become ashen, charms unmet with passion, and the Furies will befriend you"....and just too many more. This was utterly----

To be honest with you, Justin, I read this write earlier, but was at a loss for a comment. It made me sad, in some way. You seem to have painted women with the same brush....granted, there are those who do all the things you mentioned. I don't think evil is gender specific, but women are more conniving than men, and men are often lost to their real motives and intentions. Sometimes only a woman will understand another woman's true nature. As for a work of art, this was fabulous. Hope you're OK.

I agree that women can be more conniving, but from my experience it seems men show less remorse and are more reluctant to admit when they have erred. The broad brush strokes go both ways, Eileen

A powerful write, I hope all is well in your life, hope this princess holds out well, the truth will expose every inner demon, dooming wombs that are nothing more than a lost thought. Sorry to hear you are going through a match like this, or whatever this is. We are all wicked and equal in every bite, in a world filled with envy and selfsolitude, --committing to an everyday fire. I do like the condensation, that hangs on the ceiling of us all... Love this write. Linda

Continued...Obviously this perspective, in this poem is expressed through the voice and feelings of God realizing the disillusionment of this plan and hope being thwarted by these women misusing their abilities to corrupt love rather than enriching it for the benefit of all humanity. As with most, my life is new everyday and rewarding every night. The women who are apart of my life are absolute blessings Linda.

One of the things I love about you Linda is your poetically philosophical comments on my art. This is poetry from a man's perspective, addressing the need for women to be a sacred support for men in their struggle to be something more than brute, to be noble as a result of their women's grace and strength.

This poem is meant illustrate the vulnerability of good men, the that women are not exempt from being Machiavellian nor from being malvolent, and that Providence holds both Sexes accountable for the violence in this world. Women bring human life into this world, they can also deliver honor or dishonor. You are a wise woman Skat, and a friend, I know you will appreciate this poetry. J.A.B.

In many respects this composition emphasises the awesome power that women own in this world Skat. However, this write also challenges their innocence and corruptability, vices that are seemingly more often acknowledged in men. Women have enormous burden and responsibility in this world, and sometimes their motives and habits only serve to further weaken the human race. J.A.B.

I am grateful for the Honor JSL. I deeply respect the sincerity, "Street", and wisdom in your work. This composition is not intended to be malvolent towards women, it just presents a perspective that there are women throughout History who have misused their talents and blessings, failing to better humanity, and that justice isn't always nice.
