Darkness Everywhere
To me, it sure was such a scare
And I saw darkness everywhere;
Only an occasional flicker of light;
I had almost lost all of my sight.
If darkness was all that I did see
Would I die and my soul be set free;
In heaven, eventually end up one day
And there forever then have to stay.
Went to bed so lonely as I now laid;
My sight faded and to God I prayed;
In darkness for a while I have been
Dear God please let me see again.
When I woke up the next morning
Opened my eyes and without warning
It was then that I began to realize
God gave site back to both my eyes.
