Darkness

I am from the waves of the Sea That slowly flow to the shore Drifting in and out While the seabirds wheel and call I am from the season if Fall With the leaves falling on to the dirt ground To the cold Autumn breeze That blows through the trees I am from the dawn of a new day To the first Ray of the sun From the colors that stretch across the sky To the singing of the robins I am from an endless winter Where the branches are laden with snow From the sleeping bears To the cry of the wolf I am from the beginning of a seed To the small trunk of a pine tree From the wind in the willows To the growth of a forest I am from the start of spring To the grass waving in the breeze To the flowers blooming across the meadow To the dancing fireflies in the pale moonlight I am from the setting sun To a black velvety blanket that stretches across the sky From the stars in the sky To the man in the moon I am from the start of summer To the children laughing in the sun From the music blaring through a beatbox To the kites flying in the wind.
