Darkest Hour
A testimony
of time
Seizing gripping
The soul
Darkness shades
Deep within
Howling winds
Looking into space
Searching stars
Hope she smiles
White milky
On the moon
Teardrops fall
Within pain
colours drain
A world
in despair
Looming in nightmares
Upon the face
Of doom
One rose
Begins to fade
Losing colour
Turning black
Gloom her middle name
Shrivels then dies
A clock strikes
Turning clicks
Touching midnight
The death bell
Begins to toll
Each strike
Burns in pain
When one
fire dies
Back to
the embers
Alone buried
In ashes
Lost in space
Dull colourless agony
With clouded feelings
Turning forty shades
of grey
to black
Emotion falls
On this hour
The earth
Becomes dark
