Darker Shades

DARKER SHADES. Have you known some darker shades Ever bitter vested in hand held grief Like bolting of steed in fast uplands Onslaught of undines in yelped streams. Ancient roads kept in disturbed sleep Under dripping afternoons of grey storm There banishment of hope and despair An adjustment in some vespered norm. To make physical pain less lonely A loneliness like sceptred face of time A fresh start in some polluted airs To purify festered strains of the mind.
